Paul probably wrote Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians and Philemon from prison in Rome around AD 60 or 62. Ephesians seems to be a letter for all the churches in the region Asia Minor), for it mentions no specific controversies in any local church. Instead, its topic is universal. Totally universal, in fact: We might call it Pauls treatise on the cosmic Christ. Ephesians, like life, is really only about one thing: Christ. But we can distinguish at least 12 sub themes. The Epistle to the Ephesians, along with those letters to the Philippians, the Colossians, and Philemon, is a Christological Epistle. Careful examination unfolds the grandeur and the glory of the Person and work of our Lord Jesus Christ. While it is true that this book of six chapters is a treatment of the design and destiny of the Church, we must be careful to observe that the Church has her calling and consummation in Christ. All of her blessings are in Him. All of the purposes of God toward the Church are related to the Lord Jesus Christ, so that the Church, in its calling as an organism and in its conduct as an organization, is seen from the Christocentric standpoint. The most significant phrase in the epistle is made up of the two words, in Christ. If one is not in Christ he can know nothing experientially of these spiritual blessings. The doctrinal teaching of this epistle is very little more than a development of the single expression, in Christ. Except a man is in Christ, he can claim none of the blessings of God as his redemption rights. We cannot by-pass Jesus Christ to get to God. The letter states that it is from Paul, writing from prison, however some commentators are not convinced due to its difference in style, different use of words (such as church), and theological differences from other Pauline letters. Due to these controversies, the date of the authorship of this letter is not clear, although it was probably written before 95 AD, perhaps as early as 62 AD. If it wasnt written by Paul himself, it was certainly written by a Jewish Christian who was a devoted admirer of Paul. The book does not have the form of a letter in the strict sense, since it does not address any local issues or problems, or a particular groups of Christians. It may have been a compilation of Pauline texts designed to introduce Pauline theology, and as such were circulated to a number of churches for teaching. Ephesians is almost definitely a later expansion of Colossians, since they are so similar in structure and theology, but quite different from Pauls earlier letters; Ephesians was probably written to serve as a cover letter for an early collection of Pauline letters. Ephesians is the least personal of Pauls letters. The standard epistolary elements of opening greeting (1:1-2), blessing (1:3-14), thanksgiving (1:15-23), body (2:16:20), and final greeting (6:23-24) are all formal. The letter is almost devoid of references to the circumstances of either the writer or the readers. About Paul, we learn only that he is a prisoner. The Sun appears yellow because that is the main wavelength the sun emits radiation at. This is shown in a graphically below. For each hot object there is a corresponding colours. Those stars with colours of lower wavelengths are lower in temperatures. For example something that appears red has a temperature of ? 3000 K. But something blue has a temperature of ? 10000 K. So finding the predominant colour of the sun then its temperature could be determined. The Suns spectrum resembles that of something around 5000 K. By studying the emission spectra captured on the photographic film for dark bands , the composition can be found. Because interstellar clouds have a temperature of between 10-50 K, radiation emitted has much shorter wavelengths, so different techniques to the ones above have to be used. Is the Death Penalty an Effective Punishment? In my opinion yes, with at least one important respect, it simply cannot be argued that a killer, once executed, can ever kill again. If this were the case I would without a doubt totally agree with this amendment, however, Studies show that there are racial biases when the death penalty is carried out. University of Iowa law professor David Baldus conducted an exhaustive criminal sentencing study in Georgia in the 1980s. He found that prosecutors sought the death penalty for 70% of black defendants with white victims, but only 15% of black defendants with black victims. Similar patterns of racial bias are found across the country. Over half of those on death row are people of color. Black men alone make up over 42% of all death row prisoners, though they account for only 6% of people living in the U.S. Nationwide, cases involving a white victim and a defendant of color are most likely to result in a death sentence. The Baldus study found that six out of ten defendants sentenced to death in Georgia for  killing a white person would not have received a death sentence had their victim been black. It is found that an active investor invest in futures market to mitigate the risk so it can be considered that the futures are being considered as a hedging tool. On the other hand non active investors in the commodity futures main motive is either making a pure investment or offsetting the price volatility in the market. Factors like mitigation of risk, parking of excess cash, offsetting price volatility and pure investment are the main reasons for trading in commodity futures. It is found that the factors like Supply , Demand , Speculators , Easy Money , Expiry date all have a direct effect on the price of the commodity and there exist a correlation among them. It is also found that there exist a relationship between individual perception of commodity market and there investment decision. As per the research done it is found that investor who view commodity market as volatile and are also active in market they in commodity futures for risk mitigation i.e. they consider futures as a hedging tool. Alexis WIlley Mrs.Gallos English 3 05 April 2017 How to Help Teens Avoid Bulimia and Anorexia Even though some teens have health conditions that make them very skinny or problems going on at home does not mean they have to hurt themselves. Teens need to avoid bulimia nervosa and anorexia nervosa. Some teens do not have self confidence in themselves. Many teens have died or get other medical conditions for becoming bulimic or anorexic. Bulimia nervosa is a life threatening eating disorder. Bulimia nervosa is where an individual binge eats and then immediately purges after they eat. How do they do this, they usually eat more than what they usually do in one sitting. They say that teens usually,† eat until the point of physical†¦show more content†¦( Graph ) Anorexics have many problems that they face, like depression, feeling left out, not fitting in, anxiety, and etc. The problem is that they do not like to talk about it and doctors try to get them to come out of there shell a little. If they see them early, enough then they will not have as many medical conditions to worry about, but if they wait a long time,then there is a possibility that it is too late and there organs have already began to shut down. So it is very important that they have someone with them when they go through treatment because a lot can happen and they need the support from family or friends that care. Bulimia is very hard to diagnose because teenagers just do not come out and say that there bulimic.
